Our brands represent OUR VALUES AND OUR REPUTATION. A strong brand identity is a tangible asset and, if properly managed, can become even more valuable. Care should, therefore, be given to safeguarding its integrity and on-going management.

The British Seafood subsidiaries all recognise the value of a strong brand and where appropriate promote their own brand. These brands are designed to appeal to the particular market in which the subsidiary operates. It is the aim of British Seafood to ensure that each brand is a registered Trade Mark with a strong identity.

It is essential that every brand has an identity and position in the market that is easily recognisable. It is of paramount importance that when each brand is developed it has an identifiable range of values and aspirations. This can be specification lead, range lead, market lead, price lead or a mixture of all. It must also appeal to its own market in name, design and image.
